How I discovered the sheer joy of listening to you and matching your vacation desires with one of ‘my’ luxurious vacation homes for your holiday happiness / vacation bliss… the big WHY!

The adventure began in 2016 when we had a high-end vacation villa built in Curaçao. From our first vacation on the tropical island to purchasing land with a building plan, to the decision to celebrate a year-long sabbatical with our ‘family of six’. We sold our childcare organization in central Netherlands and had all the peace and space to enjoy each other, the surroundings, and the villa.

Our oldest two children started working at Beachcafé Zest on Jan Thiel Beach and worked with their bare feet in the sand. Our ‘number three’ attended Highschool at Vespucci College, and the youngest joined 7th grade at Schroederschool. What an experience!

The beginning of the end, and now we’re all addicted to the sun-soaked island of Curaçao!

Back in the Netherlands, I started renting out our vacation villa. We wanted to share our experience and make holiday happiness possible for all of you. It took off Soon, the beautiful vacation homes of our neighbors followed. Now, I have 30 vacation homes in my portfolio, I’ve turned my hobby into my job, sandrijn.com is a reality, and I call myself Vacation Villa Matchmaker.

I use the term vacation homes because I only offer gems that feel like a home away from home. They’re large villas, small villas, apartments. All luxury homes. Those places that feel right from the start, where you can feel the tension leave your shoulders.

After much consideration, my business got my first name – Sandrijn. Why? Because I personally go to work for you, because I personally handpick the amazing vacation homes, because I personally connect with the owners and managers, because I personally stand by what I promise. That’s why!
